The Not-so-Great Train Robbery

Back in 1960/1961 a goods train travelling north over-ran the Charfield loop lay-by line (alongside the brickworks that was) and plunged down the embankment (close to the re-routed footpath from New St to Weaver's Lane), taking with it a number of goods wagons containing confectionery (and possibly tobacco?) Some of the local railway employees and villagers were implicated in the pilfering of some of these goods. I remember the headline article in the Gazette relating to the incident but have had no joy after contacting the Gazette to obtain a copy. Does anyone have memories of the incident, or have the newspaper article / personal photographs that they would be willing to share with me? Thankyou!
